need a procedure for separating cookie mixture and then the chemistry behind the ingredients and adding heat to cook

Hi, There are several good websites with info on the functionality of ingredients in cookies. While I tell students it is theoretically possible to separate any mixture, it is not always feasible with everyday techniques and materials. Cookie batter falls into the latter category, as far as I know. ~Heather
