Keeping Students Interested in the Sciences

“I hate science. Science is hard. I can’t do science.” Sound familiar? These comments are not limited to only middle school students, but are common throughout high school and college. This paper discusses an opportunity for teachers in the Mid-Michigan area but also takes a look at how teachers can help to foster growth mindsets among their students while providing students with challenging curriculum.
