Need Help?

Becoming an AP Reader

Started almost 6 years ago by Jeremy Wolf.

I have recently been accepted as an AP Reader by ETS. Apparently that was the easy part. Now I have to get my school district to support my trip to grade the AP exams. Our school year does not end until after the AP reading time period, so the school district would have to let me take paid professional development days in order for me to be able to afford to go. Currently, I am formulating my case for the district to support me and I need your help. Can you let me know what your schools do to support AP readers? Thanks

My current district supports my attending, but does not allow me to take professional leave...I use a combination of sick leave, employee discretionary leave and leave without pay to attend.
