If you are interested in applying for one of the ACS Hach grants, please check out the webinar that they presented earlier this year: Enhance Your Chemistry Classroom with Other People’s Money. Not only is the video unlocked and open to the public, there are several downloads:
    Presentation Slides,
Example of an NGSS-Based Grant, Grant Development Worksheet,
Example of an NGSS Evidence Statement, and
    Sample Grant Budget
Sources of Funding. It is in the AACT webinar archive:

This is an excellent opportunity to receive up to $1500 in supplies, materials, equipment or PD expense money!!! I received a remote sensing system--clickers, a Spec 200D and water testing supplies in my applications for this grant! It is not difficult to do; the application process is fairly straight forward and all on-line. You can go to the website through www.chemistry.org and read all about it and see what others have received through their applications. I am just amazed that more Chemistry teachers do not utilize this fantastic resource!
