Calling all AACT members!
Invite a friend or colleague to become a member of AACT — if they join between April 2–30, you’ll both receive an awesome gift! The first 20 members to refer a friend who joins will receive a printed copy of the new The Best of ChemMatters book —a $49 value! Others may choose from the following gift options (while supplies last): a snazzy new AACT periodic table poster, a stylish AACT tote bag or a unique AACT periodic table magnet set.
How it works
- Current AACT member fills out this brief form inviting friend(s) to join AACT. Make sure to select which gift you'd like you and your friend to receive. See above for gift options.
- Friend receives email and clicks on the link to join AACT using the online registration form (or can call member support to join over the phone). Registration must be completed on/before April 30, 2017.
- You and your friend/new AACT member will each receive the gift you selected in the mail.
You may have some questions
Q: I’m an AACT member, can I invite more than one person to join, and receive a gift for each person who joins?
A: You can absolutely invite
as many people as you would like to become members, however, you’ll
only receive one gift. But each of your friends who join will receive
their own gift.
Q: As the current member, I
want to ensure that my friend mentions me when they sign up; will they
enter my name and/or email during the AACT registration process?
A: Your friend will not enter your name or any information about you during the registration process. Instead we'll be able to track the connection when you use this form to initiate contact. Please follow the instructions on the form to ensure we properly match you up with your friend, and you both receive the selected gift.
Q: Does my friend receive a discount if they join between April 2 and April 30?
A: Your friend would pay the normal membership dues for the year.
Q: When will I receive my gift?
A: Please allow 2-4 weeks for your gift to arrive.
