Program-In-A-Box Series: Carbon Dioxide to the Rescue!

All United States attendees that view the webinar live will be sent a "CO2 to the rescue" lab kit to use with their students! Registration will be capped at 125 attendees. To preview the contents of the kit, visit The kit is intended to be used in a classroom, under the guidance of a teacher, with students in grades 4–8. The kit contains enough materials for multiple classes of 32 students, and a teacher guide which includes the student activity sheets.

Jennifer Neakrase, a middle school teacher and AACT ambassador, will share tips and tricks to use the box in your classroom. The lesson opens with a story about a cell phone plunging into a lake. Students are then challenged to devise a way to make a cell phone float in water.
