Join AACT for our 2024 symposia!

Session 1: Creating and Carrying Out Targeted Labs

Registration URL:
Meeting ID: 898 8562 9509

Labs can take many forms during a chemistry or physical science class. Students can use them to investigate a phenomenon or gather evidence to explain a concept. While many labs exist, coming up with new ideas can be difficult. During this symposium, hear from several teachers about how they decide if a lab is worth incorporating, how to come up with ideas for new labs, and how to gauge student learning during a lab.

This Virtual Summer symposium will have several speakers who will each present a talk. Each speaker will have 20 minutes to talk and answer questions. There will be a mid-symposium break. The schedule will follow the format below.

Our first 10 registrants will be entered in a drawing to win an AACT swag bag!
