    K-12 Chemistry Teacher Day at ACS Spring Meeting

    ACS Spring 2024 will bring together chemistry professionals, educators, and students worldwide to discover and share research, network, and advance their careers. This hybrid event is an excellent opportunity for professionals and students to showcase their work and connect with colleagues in all areas of chemistry. Attend in San Diego, CA or virtually March 23 27, 2025.

    On Sunday, March 23, 2025, there will be a day of programming for K-12 chemistry teachers. Join us for lesson plans, ideas for labs, meeting fellow teachers, a free gift bag, and a chance to win an AACT membership. More information to come!

    NSTA25 National Conference on Science Education

    Spring 2025's National Science Teaching Association (NSTA) annual conference is scheduled for March 26 – 29, 2025 at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Join educators in the fall to gain new insights, discover new trends, and bring back innovative ideas that promote imaginative learning and student engagement.

  • July 16–18, 2025
    AP Annual Conference 2025

    Attend the 2025 AP Annual Conference to connect with new and experienced teachers of all 40 AP courses, attend conference sessions on a wide range of important topics in education, discover proven methods for increasing equity and access to the AP Program, and explore dozens of exhibits featuring new textbooks and classroom technologies.

    The conference is scheduled for July 16 – 18, 2025 at the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center in Boston, Massachusetts.

  • July 20–24, 2025
    ChemEd 2025 Conference

    This biennial conference is the largest for educators involved in teaching high school and introductory chemistry in North America. It is an opportunity for educators to gather together for five days to learn and exchange their teaching ideas in a friendly and motivating environment. In 2025, ChemEd will be hosted by the Colorado School of Mines. The conference will take place on campus allowing for hands-on labs, workshops, and demonstrations, along with a variety of events focused on teaching chemistry. It is a chance to be part of a community of dedicated and involved science teachers and educators.

    ChemEd 2025 begins on July 20 and ends on July 24, 2025.

Regional Conferences

  • 5/28/2025–6/30/2025
    Space Academy for Educators

    Space Academy for Educators is a 6 day, 5 night program that provides teachers with the Space Academy Experience combined with professional development. They will complete two simulated space missions, rocket launch and other camp activities while they are here. They will also complete several engineering design challenges and other workshops with lesson plans they can take back to their own classroom. Teachers can gain up to 45 hours of professional development. Sessions are offered in May through July.

    Science in the Rockies: A Steve Spangler STEM Experience

    ASM Materials Teacher Camp

    This week-long, hands-on lab experience shows educators how to use applied engineering techniques in their classroom. ASM Materials Camp is an idea-generating workshop introducing teachers to methods that make math and core science principles more enticing and relevant to their middle and high school students. Materials topics are great motivators in any engineering, technology or science course as students learn concepts that are reflected in their everyday lives. Educators work hands-on with metals, ceramics, polymers, and composites, and develop a greater appreciation for the importance of these materials in modern life.

    The camp is free for attendees and participants are eligible to receive continuing education and/or graduate credits.

    Camps are offered across the United States, Canada, and virtually during Summer 2025.

    Idaho Science Teachers Association (ISTA) Annual Conference 2025

    Help your students ignite their learning in STEM by attending the 2025 "Classic Concepts and Fresh Ideas" Conference on July 30  August 1, 2025 in Meridian, Idaho. This conference is offered in-person.

    STEMteachers NYC Summer STEM Institute

    STEMteachersNYC is thrilled to launch our Summer STEM Institute scholarship program for summer 2025! Dedicated to fostering growth within our STEM education community, especially in challenging times, this program invites applications from passionate educators. Teachers from New York City’s Title 1 schools and educators serving under-resourced communities nationwide are encouraged to take this step towards enriching their professional journey.     2025 New England Association of Chemistry Teachers (NEACT) Annual Conference

    The New England Association of Chemistry Teachers is pleased to announce that the 2025 annual summer conference will be held in person at Providence College (Providence, RI) August 4-6, 2025.

    The 2025 conference theme is "Chemistry of Food!" This conference will explore the intersection of chemistry and food, with a particular emphasis on how chemistry concepts can be taught through food-related experiments, applications, and discussions.

    Presentations on any aspect of chemistry research and chemistry education are welcome. We invite educators, scientists, and culinary professionals to submit proposals for sessions that engage participants in innovative ways to teach the chemistry of food and its real-world applications.

    The New Jersey Science Convention is co-sponsored by the New Jersey Science Teachers Association and the New Jersey Science Education Leadership Association and continues to be the second-largest annual convention for teachers in the State of New Jersey. This year's focus is Science Unleashed: Innovating the Future of Science Education.

    2025 Science Teachers Association of New York State (STANYS) Annual Conference

    Attend the 130th STANYS Annual Conference from November 7 – 10, 2025. Educators will be able to network with other New York State teachers. The theme of the conference is Sensemaking: The Power of Making Connections.
