AP Annual Conference 2024

28th Biennial Conference on Chemical Education (BCCE 2024)
The Biennial Conference on Chemical Education (BCCE) is a national meeting sponsored by the Division of Chemical Education of the American Chemical Society. The conference is designed for middle school science teachers, secondary school chemistry teachers, graduate students, and college chemistry faculty. The conference will be at the University of Kentucky July 28-August 1, 2024. The conference will be organized around four themes – Classroom Practice and Learning Environments, Curriculum and Cognition, Assessment and Research Methods, and Professional Development – within the K-12, two-year college, and university communities.

NSTA24 National Conference on Science Education
This year’s National Science Teaching Association (NSTA) annual conference is scheduled for November 6 – 9, 2024 at the New Orleans Convention Center in New Orleans, Louisiana. Join educators in the fall to gain new insights, discover new trends, and bring back innovative ideas that promote imaginative learning and student engagement.

School Science and Mathematics Association Annual Conference
The School Science and Mathematics Association annual conference brings teachers together to learn how to innovate their classrooms. The conference will be held in Knoxville, TN from November 7 – 9, 2024. More details to follow.

ASM Materials Teacher Camp
This week-long, hands-on lab experience shows educators how to use applied engineering techniques in their classroom. ASM Materials Camp is an idea-generating workshop introducing teachers to methods that make math and core science principles more enticing and relevant to their middle and high school students. Materials topics are great motivators in any engineering, technology or science course as students learn concepts that are reflected in their everyday lives. Educators work hands-on with metals, ceramics, polymers, and composites, and develop a greater appreciation for the importance of these materials in modern life.
The camp is free for attendees and participants are eligible to receive continuing education and/or graduate credits.
Camps are offered across the United States, Canada, and virtually during Summer 2024.

Idaho Science Teachers Association (ISTA) Annual Conference 2024
Help your students ignite their learning in STEM by attending the 2024 "Full Steam Ahead" Conference on August 1 – 2, 2024 in Coeur D'Alene. This conference is offered in person and attendees can earn professional development credit through Idaho State University.

NEACT is pleased to announce that the 2024 Summer Conference will be held at Clark University on August 5 – 7, 2024. This year's theme is "Chemistry For All." Chemistry educators at all grade levels are encouraged to attend and submit presentation proposals!

New Jersey Science Convention
The New Jersey Science Convention is co-sponsored by the New Jersey Science Teachers Association and the New Jersey Science Education Leadership Association and continues to be the second-largest annual convention for teachers in the State of New Jersey. This year's focus is New Frontiers in Science and Technology.

Attend the 129th STANYS Annual Conference from November 1 – 4, 2024. The conference will focus on being prepared for the NYSSLS assessments.

2024 California Science Education Conference
The California Science Education Conference is hosted and organized by the California Association of Science Educators (CASE). The goal of the California Science Education Conference is to give California science educators an opportunity to grow professionally in order to improve student outcomes in and access to a high-quality science education. The annual event takes place over 2 ½ days, Friday, 8:00 am - Sunday, 1:00 pm. More than 1,000 science educators from around the state are expected to attend this year's conference. The CASE Conference is well-known by science educators as the place to make connections, generate new ideas, energize their teaching, and learn, and grow as professionals.
This year, the California Science Education Conference will return to the Safe Credit Union Convention Center on November 8 – 10 in Sacramento, California.

Conference for the Advancement of Science Teachers (CAST) 2024
CAST is the largest state science education conference in the nation and is sponsored by the Science Teachers Association of Texas. It will be held at the San Antonio Convention Center in Dallas on November 14 – 16, 2024.
