School Science and Mathematics Association Annual Conference
The School Science and Mathematics Association annual conference brings teachers together to learn how to innovate their classrooms. The conference will be held in Chicago, IL from November 5 – 7, 2026.
Small session sizes with diverse topic offerings and multiple opportunities to interact with others in the mathematics and education community and leading thinkers in the field make this one of the best resources for those to share research and network with other leaders in the fields of mathematics, science, and STEM education.

ChemEd 2027
Mark your calendars for July 11 – 15, 2027! ChemEd is a biennial conference, the largest in North America for educators involved in teaching high school chemistry and introductory chemistry. It is an opportunity for educators to gather for five days to learn and exchange their teaching ideas in a friendly and motivating environment.
In 2027, ChemEd will be hosted by Eastern Michigan University in Ypsilanti, Michigan. The conference will take place on campus allowing for hands-on labs, workshops, and demonstrations, along with a variety of events focused on teaching chemistry. The theme is We Can Do Chem!

Pennsylvania Science Teachers Association Annual Conference
The Annual Conference of the Pennsylvania Science Teachers Association (PSTA) is October 10 – 12, 2026 in Harrisburg, PA. The theme of the conference is “Inspiring the Future of Science Education” and celebrates the 75th anniversary of PSTA.
There will be a Diamond Celebration and reception on Saturday, October 10th from 6-8 PM at the Central Hotel in Harrisburg!

New Jersey Science Convention
The New Jersey Science Convention is co-sponsored by the New Jersey Science Teachers Association and the New Jersey Science Education Leadership Association and continues to be the second-largest annual convention for teachers in the State of New Jersey. The theme of the conference is Fifty Years of Sparking Curiosity: Inspiring the Next Generation of Scientists.
The conference will take place at the Princeton Marriott at Forrestal in Princeton, NJ.

2026 Science Teachers Association of New York State (STANYS) Annual Conference
Attend the STANYS Annual Conference from November 6 – 9, 2026 in Syracuse, NY.
The theme of the conference is “Making Science Stick: Reimagining Instruction for Three-Dimensional Thinking.” Educators attending will work with the New York State P-12 Science Learning Standards to ensure that science learning is meaningful, relevant, and lasting for students.

Conference for the Advancement of Science Teachers (CAST) 2026
CAST is the largest state science education conference in the nation and is sponsored by the Science Teachers Association of Texas. It will be held at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston on November 12 – 14, 2026. The 2026 theme is Because Science Matters.
