Using Collisions to Teach Chemistry Through Game-Based Learning Mark as Favorite (1 Favorite)

Collisions is a system of eight digital games, grounded in the rules of chemistry, that can be used to introduce, teach, and review more than 45 key concepts in your chemistry classroom. Collisions makes abstract concepts tangible by allowing students to visualize and manipulate the building blocks of matter, while providing a safe space to make mistakes and learn by introducing content through gameplay.

Jen Lee has been teaching chemistry at the high school and college level for eight years. Prior to that, she worked as a research chemist and technical writer in industry. She is a strong advocate of using educational technology within the classroom environment - whether live or virtual. She is well-versed in many educational technology tools, and loves learning new approaches. Jen recently transitioned into a new role as Manager of Customer Success at PlayMada Games.
