Student Pass Updates
By AACT on May 29, 2020
Note: Student Video Pass is now Student Pass.
Student Pass uses
To support teaching chemistry remotely, we have updated our Student Pass. Teacher members can create a passcode that gives their students 7-days to view videos, animations, and the ChemMatters archived issues. The passcode does not give students access to locked content on our site.
For the Student
To view a video, animation or ChemMatters archived issue, students visit the URL of their assigned video(s), animation(s), or issue(s), and enter the *passcode when prompted (see red arrow below).
*Note: The passcode only works for videos, animations, and ChemMatters archived issues. No other content can be unlocked with a passcode.

Generate a Student Pass
You can generate up to 10 passes in a calendar year. Each pass is valid for 7-days so students have additional time to review the material. There’s no limit to the number of students who can use the generated pass.
